Bottom Line:
I have used EOS HD with Sim i5.3 , and the sound was great to me . I was satisfied with it.
But after moving from Sim i5.3 to EAR 859 SE ( 13 Watt Inti amp, SET ) , the sound become really attractive , especially in female voice (Sara Brightman ). Later I added REL Storm III , then it become great for all the music including classics . There is no fatigue , and I could just enjoy any kind of music .

EOS HD is rare speaker ,which can be driven with either SS and or Tube amp.
EAR 13 Watt SET power is more than for my small to medium sized room .
Also , off-the axis sound is very good , so I could enjoy the music in the living room , just let listening room door open. As for the appearance , it is also very much attractive , much more than picture.
Performance per cost point of view , EOS HD could be one of the best speakers , especially performance per total audio system cost point of view. One word for EOS HD is very " Lovely " Speaker.

I would like to recommend everyone to try a listing of EOS HD.
