Good bass and highs.

mids seem a tad forward

150-200$ price is really good for this speaker. sound quality is little bit better than my wharfedale 10.1, but make is not as good as 10.1. a decent speaker stand is necessary to produce a good soundstage. worth to buy for budget systems.

well balanced and dynamic, good spatial separation. however, compared with a sennheiser hd600 headphone, it is little bit lack of tone color for midrange. this can be solved by changing capacitors of the speaker crossover part.

good speakers for its price.

this is my first american brand speaker, quite surprised with its sound when paired with a marantz pm 6004. not typical american sound as i always thought, but also still not euro sound style (compared with my old tannoy 615). good for chamber music, especially for piano solo.

Listening to these speakers you are amazed at the large sound being produced = if you did not see them you will swear they were floor standers so good is the bass = they have good imaging and sound absolutely great = well done Ken Isiwata
