Strength:

Handles high volumes (allegedy - I haven't tried)
Look really nice, far above average (I got the cherry)
Solid bass
Very balanced sound

Weakness:

The lower mids are a touch on the strong side in some music, especially with deep voices, but far from over bearing.

I spent a full day shop jumping and listened to all sort of speakers. They all had their strengths and weaknesses (well, a few just had weaknesses). The leading contender was the Wharfedale 9.3s, but I just wasn't happy with the dominant lower mids.

The second I heard these, well, they were in a class of their own. Quite strong bass which I was after, perhaps a fraction too strong for some, but it's certainly not overbearing - it reacts well to the bassiness of the music - music that's meant to be bassy is strong, other music isn't.

The tops aren't over bearing, but definitely there.
