Very misunderstood cables.

Very matt and bass heavy and very deliberate in interpretation.

It´s trying too sound alot like a decent LP player.

This is not a cable to put systems like NAGRA and Proac that are very neutral.
This is a cable to put on a system like B&W with classé amp.

If you have a decent amp like nakamichi pa7e or an old mcintosh or bryston or even and ear 8l6 then this cables is perfect, because it removes alot of hardness and makes it possibles to turn the volume up to almost ridicolous levels, which is really nice.

But don´t use it on insanely good equipment since it does not make good use of neutrality and space.

This is a compensation cable and has to be used then on pretty good 2nd grade systems.

have a tube amp? this is the cable for you! i tested a lot of speaker cables in my life, but this vdh is the musical and the warm cable you can get for your mony. it is very expensive cable, but worth for those that can affored it

Simply abysmal. This cable has rolled off treble, a fleshy, bloated low-end, and a pronounced, warm mid range. My friend actually asked if this was the "before" cable in an A/B test to promote the merits of audiophile cable. I cannot believe that there are engineers out there who feel that a loop resistance of .8 ohms is acceptable! Simply outrageous, go buy something cheaper, and don't get sucked in by the "merits" of carbon as a conductor. Hard to debate it's mechanical and chemical properties, but we are LISTENING to music, not using it in phosphoric acid baths.
