Bottom Line:
Having owned original Maestros, I was happy to see these as the middle brother so to speak, to the original Maestro which I always liked.

Bottom Line:
I must make an amendment to my previous post. I have given these cables some time on my system. I also purchased an Octave cable for my center. I did not give these cables sufficient time before. I couldn't listen to my system now without them. I changed back to my old cables and could not believe the difference! The soundstage, detail and warmth were all gone with my old cables. I will now re-rate these cables for what they deserve! A must buy, highly recommended.

Bottom Line:
I borrowed a pair of these from a local store kind enough to let me have an in home trial. First let me list my system:
B&W 601 S2 speakers
Yamaha Pre-amp
B&K AV5000 amplifier
Sony DVD player
Tributaries Direct Connect interconnects

Now to the verdict. These wires do make a difference, they do quite a good job of opening the highs and definition. As for the mids and lows, I noticed no change. The soundstage seemed to have no change as well. These are very good cables indeed but at least for the system I currently have, are not worth the price. Possibly on a more expensive system.
