Strength:

Incredible control, really tames the Tannoys' over-flamboyant tweeters and goes some way to taming the boomy bass too. Lovely detail with clean, natural sounding voices. Decent bass and a clear, well presented treble to match. There's a LOT of detail on offer and the clarity is good. The soundstage is large but sounds are somehow cramped until you realise that what you are listening to is depth! I had never truly appreciated depth before. I mean we've all heard those surround sound demos and we've all been to the cinema but this is very different.

Weakness:

My listening room and kit don't allow for me to actually criticise this cable too much but I do have a couple of complaints. There is a long burn-in period and during that period it sounds truly terrible. After about 3 weeks on frequent use it finally burnt in properly. Be patient and you'll be rewarded.

This cable as billed as unconventional but it's about as simple as they come. In school here in the UK they teach teenagers about how to make speaker cables in electronics and this is the design that is often favoured because of it's being relatively easy to make and scientifically sound. However, about the sound...I'm really, really impressed. Great control, smooth and just really, really nice. I don't know what else I can really say. Wire directly into speaker and amp terminals if you can - it really does sound so much better than terminated cables!! Relatively "slow" cable. I can't tell you exactly who should buy this except that the Burberry Fraternity need not apply. This is no good for 800w bass boxes but who the hell cares?
