This concerns the Prelude speaker stand. They look good. Nice set of adjustable spikes. Low price at 50€ online in Thailand

Buyer beware: the base and speaker plates are made in low density compressed wood, only the tube is made out of metal. The single screw at each end to tighten the assembly sinks into the wood before you can apply the full torque allowed by the provided Allen key. The result is a flimsy assembly. The tubes can be filled with sand but the openings are so small that it is going to be very tedious. I am not sure the additional weight will improve anything or put more stress on the attachment. My small JBL S-CN301-LR speakers are very light so it is okay but I would not recommend for anything larger. If you are looking for true stable speaker stands look elsewhere.
