must be filled w/ silica or lead beads

These stands are very well made and nice looking too.

Still, the three colums could be detrimental to the sound quality obtained from the speakers if the stand is not filled. The colums are verrryyy resonant when empty. I switched from basic stands of the same hight and at first the whole sound got messed, soundstage was gone and the bass was more diffussed.

After a few days traying to set them up I purchassed some silica. Filled them up, botled the speakers to them and re set the speakers as per the Audiophysics speaker placement method. Now things were even better than with the old stands.

Recommended when filled to deaden resonances.
