This is one of the best Pre Amps I've used if you were to open one up you see plenty of space A lot of thought went into the placement of its components easy to work on if needed It sounds Great very quiet and the Phono section is so smooth you will love it. I compared it to an Adcom GFP-565 a great preamp but for my ears, the C2 had a sweetness to its clarity the C2 won my test hands down

Balance Control these fail almost all the time a replacement can now be found at drmaudio.com remember they are 30-35 years old
