Strength:

This is my second MP-1. I've purchased a year ago MK-1 which was fabricated in late '90. I was so happy with this preamplifier that I absolutely wanted the get a more recent version. After some search in USA (I live in France) I have finally acquired MK 3.1 (the latest version is 3.3). What was already the finest preamplifier I have ever heard, is now for me the last preamplifier I'll ever buy. This is a fantastic machine!!! I can hardly imagine that any other preamplifier can be any better. Maybe different, but no better. My system is now composed of M-60, MP-1, Quad ESL speakers and Ear Yoshino CD Acute. The sound is absolutely fantastic, analog, fluid, rich, relaxed, engaging. This amplification make my Quads to sound glorious. I'm very very very happy with this system.

Weakness:

I can't find any weakenss of MP-1
