from Circuit City Summary: Finally, the perfect MP3 player. Tops the iPod 60gb by far. Far superior software. Does Podcasts (RSS feeds), Audible.com audiobooks, video, audio, photos.
Big beautiful screen. Awesome audio quality. Excellent features and navigation.
I have owned many mp3 hard drive players since the pre-iPod Creative Labs Nomad Jukebox. This is the best.
Best mp3 player available now. Strengths: 1) Battery Life
2) Connector. You plug in the charging adapter connector, it connects USB, or power, or audio/video output!
3) Does RSS feeds (Podcasts). GOTO Zencast.com .
4) Does Audiible.com audiobooks.
5) Excellent video and screen.
6) Great controls, features, and navigation.
7) Accessories available.
8) Pairs well with Grado SR80 headphones, the best for portable use...big, but awesome.
9) Excellent and usable software. iPod video support seems to be an afterthought on the iPod. Redchair Software makes Notmad which is compatible and excellent. though not free.
10) Comes with AC adapter, unlike the iPod, which does not. Weaknesses: Price.
Must use supplied "adapter" to use USB, charger, or audio/video output. Minor detail. Spares are available.
At this time, no portable direct connect amps available (Mid 2006). Similar Products Used: Creative Labs Jukebox, and Jukebox III. eDigital Treo. iRiver. Archos. Creative Labs Zen Xtra. Creative Labs Zen Micro. iPod Nano 2gb. iPod 60gb video. Minidisc.
