The iRiver iFP-595 is the middle child in the 500-series family. Boasting an ample 512MB of memory, it shares the many features of its siblings which place them far above any other flash-based MP3 models currently available.In addition to multi-codec (MP3/WMA/ASF) playback and FM radio, the iFP-595 has a full complement of inputs & outputs...analog and optical input and outputs as well as mic input allow for connection to just about any audio devices. The built-in Lithium-ion battery gives up to 28 hours of playback on a single charge. The headphone output cranks out a whopping 12mW output, enough to keep Pete Townsend happy! Voice activated recording conserves both battery life and memory while voice recording, and the recording sync feature automatically sets track marks when encoding from another audio device.
