The D-Link Roq-it 650 MB is a portable MP3 CD player with ID3-Tag support that plays both CD's with MP3 files and audio CD's and provides over 10 hours of non-stop music. The Roq-it 650 MB is targeted at MP3 music enthusiasts. The Roq-it 650 MB plays ordinary audio CD's, CD-Recordable and CD-Rewriteable compact disks containing files encoded in the MP3 format. Support for Multi-session CD-R's is also provided. It is compatible with the MP3 (MPEG 1 Audio Layer 3) standard, which specifies audio compression methods. The Roq-it 650 MB incorporates a sophisticated ESP feature that reads 120 seconds ahead in MP3 mode. Because the Roq-it 650 MB can play 120 seconds of music from memory, the Roq-it 650 MB stops the CD from spinning, which saves battery power. An ESP of 40 seconds is provided in Audio CD mode.
