Review NaN of , from England UK

Summary:
A great bit of kit for the money, i really like the style and nothing can beet the sound quality from such a basic unit. The CD is brill, and the audio inputs from the aux jacks at the back handle TV well, but beware, this unit will not run low ohm speakers (2 ohm that would be 2x4ohm in parallel) from a high audio level input from it's aux, the output driver chip will go over it's ratings and be destroyed! Normal 4 ohm - great.

Strengths:
Great sound from CD, especially with the simulated surround sound on the QSound button. The T-Bass button also adds extra dimention to a multiple speaker setup. Excellant reception for recieving radio and looks great. The equaliser has three settings Rock, Jazz, and Pop, and each one gives a good unique sound. The remote control is intuative and works very weel with new batteries.

Weaknesses:
not many, cassette is ordinary and gets a little crakly aftedr a while, but nothing a cleaning cassette can't handle.
