Review 1 of 1

Price Paid:  $90.00 from Ebay (not used)

Summary:
This is the smallest thing I could find to record with but it definitely wasn't the worst. Right when I got it I had the recording software so I just installed the driver and got started right away. I recorded a demo and it was great quality. Unfortunantly a demo was all I could record because while i was recording my computer shut off out of no where the Transit blew up. Then I got a new one and before even using it I plugged it into my sterio wrong, and it blew up my mouse, something in the tower, and of course the transit. My other M-Audio purchase was the Fast Track, The salesmen told me that it was better for recording than the Transit. It costs about 40 dollar more too. The Fast Track I tried to get working for hours, and even when I did get it working I wasnt sure if it was on or not because It was so quiet. So I think the transit is the way to go.

Strengths:
Great sound quality, Small, and Cheap.

Weaknesses:
Blows up faster than pop-pops. When you turn the volume down on a guitar it makes a really loud annoying sound.

Magnepan Magneplanar MG 1.6 User Review

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
