Review NaN of , from Cincinnati, OH

Price Paid:  $20.00 from OfficeMax

Summary:
For $20, this card is a great buy. No, it's not a SoundBlaster Live! card, but it costs 80% less. I have Altec-Lansing ACS-54 5-piece subwoofer system, and the 3D sounds are very good on these speakers.

One feature that I really like is the fact that this sound card supports DirectX hardware acceleration. This is important to me because I play a lot of games that require DirectX.

I wouldn't recommend this card for a new system. But if you have an older system to which you want to add a sound card, then this card offer a lot of sound card for the money.

Summary:
This sound card is the best deal for the money around. I got the card for $19.99, the sounds are very realistic, the A3D is wonderful. Really worth the money and more.
