Review 1 of 6

Price Paid:  $90.00 from Best buy

Summary:
This sound card is awesome. The MX25 and piece give supports for 6 speakers. That *#ckin' hot!! I use reference drivers because the Diamond drivers haven't been updated in ions. The Diamond drivers hang up a VIA KX133 Chipset based motherboard. I did use the MX25 drivers and those work just fine.

Summary:
It's really greats, you feel the power of the sound, I compare them with a SBLive and the not create the qualitty that this sound card generate,
using in recording software I no have problems with them, only use the lastest drivers of A3D that support EAX.

Review 3 of 6

Summary:
I have 2 word to say about this card. "It rocks".
S3 bought Diamond Multimedia recently. It kinda sucks cuz S3 sucks(doh). It thought S3 would go bankrupt but I guess it didn't happen. Anyways, just to tell you that Diamond won't upgrade their drivers for the MX-300 anymore. So go to www.aureal.com to download the latest vortex2 drivers (2048 I believe) for the MX-300 cuz the MX-300 use the reference drivers.

Diamond Multimedia just release MX-400 and it sucks compared to MX-300 cuz MX-400 uses the chip from ESS.

Review 5 of 6

Summary:
I have both the SB Live! value and the Monster MX-300 and all I have to say is that the Monster MX-300 OWNZ all and is all...I've tried both on my 4 point speak setup and the MX-300 was far more superior in quality and realism...True the SB Live! gives you the ability to change the reverb and stuff like that BIG WHOOPDI DOO...If you are in for a great card get the MX-300

Magnepan Magneplanar MG 1.6 User Review

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
