Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $64.00 from Online

Summary:
Up until now i only used onboard sound, that was ok i had sound (WOW), But i had 60 bucks so i got the sound card, & man It's 200 times better than the motherboard sound, it's like i unlocked all the sounds of my games. I play mostly shooter games, unreal, tactical OPS, stuff like that.
You can hear everything, from the shell casings hitting the ground to the rounds hitting the wall around, and my favorite, you can hear the other guy or (girl) reloading, there weapon,.

just one thing when you have the volume low, the sound cracks and pops, (but wants to have it low)
I heard there are alot of problems using this card and Win XP Pro, I haven't had any issues.
(I think some people don't know how to turn off there Onboard sound in there BIOS.)

Magnepan Magneplanar MG 1.6 User Review

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
