This VCR will do things that no new ones will dosuch as putting an index madk while playing.It took 5 months to get a new head.This is an eight head unit.

I am writing this in respect to this player's ability to reproduce some decent audio from LPs, tapes, or CDs. I use it mainly for recording different party/listening tapes, especially if I am not in the mood to listening intently to my reference source.

Lastly, it was back in the days when Mits built them like brick #$%^&^%$#*. Out of metal and not plastic parts. I am very happy that I picked one up from this era (about 1993).
