Bottom Line:
I was surprise how heavy these stands are even before I sand filled them. The overall quality for the stand is of my satisfactory, I know how much I paid for it, with that kind of price, I can't find any stands that come close to it. The only set back is the waiting time to get this stand, one advise to Lovan, don't let the customer wait for too long. Overall, I am very happy with the product and look forward to purchase more Lovan in the future.

Bottom Line:
These are good stands. The built quality is lower than I expected but it actually look well built after you assembled them. As for the sonic quality, filling them up with sands dramatically improves bass but gives a blacker blackground. But for the price, it's still a good deal.

Bottom Line:
The build quality is acceptable. When you fill the vertical beams with sand, the resonant frequency drops dramtically. I also screwed the speakers to the stand using a long screws and several rubber washers. Vibration of both the spearker box and the stand dropped dramatically when the speaker and the stand were coupled in this manner. This can only help to reduce coloration at high volumes.
