I purchased this screen to replace the renticular (front) screen on my pioneer 50 inch rear projection TV. It is not an Elite model. Although it dimmed the output of the TV slighltly it made a HUGE improvement in the color and quality of the picture. Although the picture needs recalibrated and the cost is somewhat high, I recommend this product for someone looking to improve the quality of their rear screen TV
