No recording level adjustment(Manual)

I have purchased this 3 years ago after doing lot of survey. Overall this is a good piece when you compare with Denon, Yamaha, Teac but never do this with Nakamichi Dr series which I happened to see at a shop after I bought this!

I just got my Technics RS-TR272 tapedeck from my uncle Jerome.So far I like it.I haven't really explored the options on it yet because I'm missing the instruction booklet.I really wish I knew what it can do.It looks very nice and the Dobly NR B/C works well.The recording function creates a clean crisp sound coming close to cd quality.
