A piece of junk. This system is all bells and whistles, and nothing you really need. Its equalizer is just a list of three options, "Rock", "Pop", and "Classical", none of which sound good. It has no output jacks (except for a digital optical one), no sub-woofer output, no microphone input, and poor sound. It has cheap dual cassette deck and almost no power (certainly not the 50 watts it is raited at). It does, however, have a four color display with lights flashing all over the place, and even a slot-machine game that you can play once you get tired of listening to this system butcher your music. Another cute feature - it says "Goodbye" to you when you turn it off. Funny that the engineers at Aiwa found the time to program this into their machine, but didn't have the time to add more essential ellements. Well tommorrow, I'm saying "Goodbye" to this system and buying myself a real component system. Save your money.

Strength:

Great sound, surround speakers, 3 eq presets, anyalyzer, aux in, digital out

Weakness:

Can't set the eq to what you want, just the presets.

This is a great product, despite what the other two said.
It was well worth the money. It's a powerful system with many great features.

Strength:

Semi powerful-125W, pretty descent bass.

Weakness:

I would have to agree with Josh that the sound sucks with the speakers packaged with it( it is a 125W stereo with 35W speakers). The rear ones suck even more( only 5W each ). I bought high-end speakers to go with it, so the sound isn't too shabby. Only 3 equalizer presets-won't let you customize. Tape deck doesn't record well at all. No phono pre-amp. Only 1 aux. It was very cheaply put together. I wish I would have kept my old JVC portable.

Don't buy this product. It costs too much for what you get. I got the impression that I paid 300 bucks for the 5 letters of the brand name, and a flourescent display.
