As a secondary system, it is ok. Never used the CD player much, but when I decided to, doesn't work. Remote is so under powered that you can't be more than 4 or 5 feet from the unit to work. Used a programmable remote instead. The main display is loose or has a connection problem and only comes on if you tap it. Unit would freeze up now and then, but that seems to have gone away. Good quality sound for what it is. Power is good as well. It was a refurb, but I don't think they got it right. Would I buy another? Only if the price was REALLY good.
