Strength:

price, features

Weakness:

at 15 w per channel, volume has to be turned up in normal room (carpet, furniture) to point of distortion; no balance control.

This would be a good starter system for the pre-teen, especially if parents didn't want to hear it all over the house. It has many features... but you get what you pay for. Inexpensive construction may not stand up well to the pre-teen set. Not recommended.

Strength:

This system has a very poerful sound and is extremely clear. The T-bass adds a great full sound and the pre-set graphic equalizers are great. I also like the fact that it hooks up to the t.v for a great surround sound when watching movies like Star Wars. i alos like the fact that everything is digital.

Weakness:

Needs a subwoofer hook-up

Other than that this is a great system which really pushes out a quality sound for a small mini-system.
