any minisystem is lacking in overall sound quality

My background in audio is limited to being a pro sax player and enjoying my Sony cd player thru Klipsch Kg3 speakers. The JVC fs V5 is perfect for easy listening stuff, background sound, and listening to my favorite cds(J. Taylor, P. Simon, A. Krause, A. at the Wheel(ha), D. Krall) to name a few. It is very easy to operate, takes little space, looks great(especially with front load cd player), has tape w/ record and is CHEAP! I paid 259 retail.
