I own one about 9 years now and i love it. My dad bought for me as an birthday present. Mine still sounds awesome.

THIS THING WELL KILL YOUR HOUSE I HAD IT 4 2 WEEKS AND AL READY ITS BROKE 2 WINDOWS AND SHUDDERED 3 BAR GLASSES' AND THE COPS CAME OVER TWICE IT WAS SCARRY BUT THEY SAW THE JVC THEY WERE IMPARTS THIS THING ID SO SWEET GET IT

Incredible bass and midrange. I can't emphasize this enough. Wonderful.

Overall, the HX-Z1 is a great system and worth every penny. Highly recommended. Sounds great and looks cool too. I tested every mini-system in the $200-$300 range at Circuit City. The HX-Z1 was by far the best sounding out of all of them.
