Strength:

Great sound and high power rating for such a low price.
Dolby Digital for cheap price

Weakness:

Satellite Speakers produce no bass. Subwoofer very weak, lots of distortion. Volume flashes over 21, questionable quality.

I bought this system last Summer and it is my first Dolby Digital Sound System. It is a good system for those with tight budget. Accurate Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound. Satellite speakers are visually pleasing and are not oversized and clunky, although they provide no bass. Subwoofer is worst part of system, 50 watt powered sub with lots of distortion when volume gets too high, better to get a more capable sub with this system. Volume flashes over 21, suggesting overload, but best movie volume is at least 23 or 24, which might kill the system early. Nice features, 2 optical outputs, 1 coaxial output. Good with DVDs and music. Overall good system great sound, although not top of the line and not from one of the top home theater manufacturers.

Good system for those with a tight budget. Produces good sound (not great) with a low price tag. Has nice coaxil and optical outputs. Highly recommended for those just starting out.
