Summary:
It's ok, but could be better.

Strengths:
Easy to hack - runs Linux with off-the-shelf IDE hard drives.

Weaknesses:
It's response can be slow. Just changing channels has an annoying 1-3 second screen delay. The thumbs up/down feature is not very smart. It attempts to auto record channels that I don't have access to. It can't auto skip commercials. Tivo customer support is NON-EXISTENT.
