Quality picture with excellent audio.

Strength:

Can program DVD discs whilst a lot of other makes cannot. Better designed menus cause it doesn't force you to go through as many steps to perform a function (such as changing discs, switching audio channels..etc.) The unit looks good.

Weakness:

Very average video and sound. Only one analog audio output. So for those of you wanting to use hook it up to a mixer as well as receiver, don't buy this model.

Average sound and video quality with respect to using it to watch movies and listening to music. Video in progressive mode is not as sharp and film-like as Panasonic's CP67, and movie sounds doesn't come across as three dimensional in DTS or Dolby Digital. Music sound is not as good as the old Sony 600D.
