Pioneer DV F07 300 Disc DVD Changer w Built In Dolby Digital Decoder Multiple DVD Players

4.33/5 (3 Reviews)

Product Description

The DV-F07 holds 300 discs, sounds much better when playing CDs and looks slightly better when playing DVDs. The DV-F507's graphical user interface (GUI) is agile and streamlined and the DV-F507 allows you to dial quickly through disc titles using the jog wheel and the front-panel display. It also has critical ""find"" and ""sort"" functionality. The DV-F07 even has a single-loader function that's actually convenient enough to use on a regular basis. The DV-F07 has a motorized disc-compartment door or ""hood"" as it's called in the manual. The DV-F07 allows you to search by title or artist on-screen or on the front panel. It also allows you to update only those discs that have changed since the last time you updated the unit and this process can take up to 90 minutes. The dvd player will even recognize that you've physically reorganized up to 30 discs and automatically update its memory to match.

Bottom Line:
If your interested in owning a CD library
or DVD library, the DV-F07 is a true contender. I use it for DVD storage and
play. It's been flawless since 2001. Well
built and easy too look at. It plays everything including CD-R's and DVD+R's
and decodes both DD and DTS.

Overall I like this unit. Great features, wonderful video and audio. If you are a DVD nut and are looking at building an initial set of less than 600 this is the unit... The disk file interface is poor when comparing to satellite channel listing display format..its like comparing a DOS and Windows interface. I am still looking for firmware to replace the existing one.

I wouldn't use this unit for CD's since there are cheaper carousels for this purpose.

I just bought a second unit after a year with the first and am trying the daisy chain function .. so far no luck ..

Very capable DVD changer. Video is high quality if you use quality connections. Great storage compartment. I have had no problems with loading any DVD's. Playback of CD's are acceptable.
