Summary:
The Toshiba SD-P2500 portable dvd player is a terrible player. The picture is good. The sound is not bad. The problem is that I had it for less than 3 months and it stopped working all together. Then I had the whole board replaced, which the parts were under warranty, but I paid $140 for labor. Then in less than 90 days the same thing went wront. It would not spin a dvd and the screen would come on, but nothing else would work. I did not get it fixed at first. I did not want to pay another $140. Then after the 1 year warranty ran out, I got an extended warranty and sent it in to be fixed. The part was no longer available. The player never really worked well even when I first got it. It would shut off for no reason, then have problems powering back on. I would stongly not recommend this player.

Strengths:
Good picture.

Weaknesses:
It is a lemon.
