Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $799.00 from Local Karaoke Vendor

Summary:
I bought this demo unit primarily for karaoke.Besides playing LD/DVD/VCD/CD+G/ CD audio,it will also read and play my backup disks recorded with CDR media. The controls are easy to use, and the remote unit is not needed for karaoke with possibly the exception of DVD karaoke. It has a stepped key changer, a echo cont- roller, and 2 ch. mixer that work fine.

Strengths:
Versatile unit plays all medias. Built in Japan, is heavy and components appear solid and well made.

Weaknesses:
DVD movies kick back out and won''t play if there''s the slightest scratch on the disk. Karaoke scoring feature doesn''t work well for CD+G media as the scoring graphics cover up the karaoke graphics. The voice remover feature for VCD''s is tricky.

Price Paid:  $500.00 from Hollytron

Summary:
I bought the open box item at $500 because my old LD plyer was dead. Holly cow!! No DTS. I did not know there is a DVD player does not support DTS.I have another DVD palyer supporting DTS but my receiver does not have enough outlet for both of them. Tray loading is pretty smooth and access time for each chapter of disk is pretty fast. I don't use Karaoke function but it support 2 mic and there is rating fuction too. Anyway these machine is old fashion.

Strengths:

Support 2 display

Weaknesses:
No DTS funtion for DVD

Marantz MA-9S2 Power AmplifierThe list above has one tenet that I continue to hold true: high powered amplifiers are necessary to reproduce the full dynamic range of music with most speakers. This became apparent when I changed from the 100 Watt per channel Bella Extreme 100 to the 250 Watt.....

Aune Mini Headphone DAC User Review

The unit arrived from China well packed and everything seem to be in place. No external abuse by the carriers. The only problem was the power supply it came with. The box came with a cheap step-down converter.
