Summary:
I needed to have a DVD player that had karaoke capability since my wife and kids love to sing.My choices were very limited so I chose the Pioneer DVD-V550 because it had so many more functions and eye pleasing looks over the other few models.I am extremely satisfied with everything this unit offers and shocked at how well the karaoke system works and sounds.I did purchase this unit at cost but even at retail this machine is well worth it.

Strengths:
Dolby Digital,DTS,S-Video output,Two Mic inputs

Weaknesses:
The only weakness this unit has is the fact that there is no component output.
