Summary:
I know it a crazy thing to say that a $100 dvd player performing much better than a $1200 dvd player, but it is true. I had a Pioneer DV 733, which is a first universal player in the World. First thing I noticed that the picture separation with the DV383 is much much better. Color dept and shadow everything just comes live to me.

Sound is also very good but not the best but very listenable. This player’s main strength is the video quality off course you have to watch it through component connection to get there.

Excellent video, fair audio, beautiful remote, looks also a class. Overall it is one of the best buy in the market. Specially if you running a DLP projector pls try this before you spent more bucks.

No HDMI or DVI support.
