This is the finest DVD player I have ever used. I sold a Denon DVD 5910 last year. I was not satisfied with the upconversion from any of the BluRay players. Had a chance to purchase a dealer demo at a significant reduction that I could not pass up. Once installed in my system, the player proved what all the reviewwes have said, Truly a phenominal picture for standard DVD upconversion. I have seen none better.AS close to HD as you will ever get. I have enjoyed watching dome of my DVD collection over again to appreciate just how good they can look. I know this is a great universal player, however, I did not purchase it for music playback. What little CD time I have on it, has been impressive, but not the last word in music playback. Highly recommended for video.
