Review 1 of 4 , from Natick Ma U.S.A.

Summary:
Waste of money. If you going to buy one don't buy an aiwa they quit making good products about a year ago. If you don't have a lot of money you could get this one, but be prepaired to get what you pay for.

Strengths:
Its cheap for a portable.

Weaknesses:
Its bigger than the panasonic, and has all sorts of problems with over heating such as: skipping and even complete lock up which means you have to unplug it.

Similar Products Used:
Panasonic, a lot more money but worth.

Review 3 of 4 , from Fairfield, OH

Summary:
Excellent product from AIWA. I don't know AIWA can
make such a good quality DVD portable player.
I got this from chaseshop.com which sells cheaper
than other on-line stores.

Strengths:
Excellent Sound and features design. Extremely convient
for both home and outdoor use. Light weight and long battery
life. "Easy to use" remote control and graphical user
interface. Excellent product.

Weaknesses:
Picture looks in LCD is not as good as connected to TV. But
acceptable for portable player.

Review 4 of 4 , from Rutherford, NJ

Summary:
Not a bad deal for a portable player. Easy to connect outputs for connection to a monitor (would have liked component out). You can utilize one of the many shopping sites on the web that give free offers or coupons and get the price even lower (I joined etrade and got a $100 credit at Buy.com, bought the item & cancelled my etrade account).

Strengths:
Sound was very good, but the picture wasn't as sharp as I expected. Not bad for portable.

Weaknesses:
Picture could have been sharper. On (2) occassions I noticed flicker (dropped frames-?), but couldn't get it to repeat, even at the same point of the same disk.
