BIC is one of a few quality speakers that is actually affordable. I had a pair of Venturiis for years, then tried a smaller monitor type speaker. I soon found myself looking for full size again, which led me to the Acoustech series. Affordable is subjective to the consumer, but value is something everyone is concerned with. I don't know of a better bang for your buck than these speakers! The front towers HT-75 can hold there own with regards to bass. The clarity on the high end is very good. With the mid-range being their strongpoint. The center channel HT-65 is crisp and yet blends well. The rear speakers HT-63 are solid performers as well. The speakers are big, but not too big. And let's not forget the impressive HT-100 subwoofer. Very nice bass, for movies and music. Not punchy or distorted. I am adding the new HT-200 to my set up. Which boasts twice the peak power and higher RMS . Can hardly wait to shake the house ... even more! You can spend more on a better known name, but I would take these speakers over many other brands.

Strength:

True sound, hard pounding bass untouchable quality for the price

Weakness:

......

This speaker system is absolutely fantastic especially at this $799 price tag.. The Ht100 Sub woofer is plenty powerful to satisfy most BASS feins. The Towers give own crisp clean sound. The center is extremely clear. And the Ht-63 surronds bring life-like therater to your home. All these are hooked up to an Onkyo 674E 7.1 reciever. I almost had purchased a Bose speaker system from Best Buy but i am 100% grateful i didn't. There cannot be anything even close to these speakers for the price not to mention how great they look. I would recommend these to anyone who wants true quality on a budget.
