OK folks here it is....I wouldn't waste my time writing a review of headphones if I didn't believe so strongly that these were the absolute best I have ever used. And that's saying something becasue I have probably spent well over 5-6 hundred dollars trying to replace these. I just cant seem to do it!.

I am an active person and as such when I run; all the other headphones (especially rounded earbuds) fall out of my left ear. I don't know maybe it's my ear-hole but nonetheless...These are perfect for me because they fit directly in the ear and push the sound forward and around inside you ear to develop a truly great sound for the price! You are able to catch a lot of the highs mids and lows with out the ridiculous price that many others will try to sell you on.

Construction was good enough to last me continuous use for over 5 years! Purchased these in 99 or 2000 and I put them out to pasture in 2005. That was just after the sound went out and the left speaker went out. I opened them up to try to fix it, but by then it was too late. I miss these. They have inline volume control which is cool when you have differing volume levels for different songs when your working out. One sided cord so no tangling and an L-shaped audio plug which prevents bending. This is an important feature for a klutz like myself that runs into things.

I know what youre thinking there must be some draw backs....Well, after sampling so many headphones since I tragically laid these to rest in 2005, I found some features that could be added to make these the absolute perfect value headphone on the market.

1. Cut the cord in half and make it 2ft adaptable to 4ft. It makes more sense with the armbands that are so prevalent in todays market. There is no need for the rest of that cable.

#2. The neck band is not adjustable so when I lay down to do a bench press or sit-ups, the neck band comes into contact with whatever surface i lay on and pushes the earpieces forward in my ears.

#3. Finally the cord does not slide or is not concealable into the neckband in order to change its position. Not absolutely necessary, but a good feature that would go a long way to making a truly great product even better!

Strength:

Mega bass, hear all the high notes and the low bass tones.

Weakness:

Can break easily, the casing around the earbuds is not very strong.
Not easy to sleep in.

DROWN THE OUTSIDE SOUND OUT!!!!!!
Look! These are great noise cancelling headphones with great bass and sound that makes your music audible, even the lowest bass notes and the highest notes as well. Comfortable swoop design and wire on one ear so there isn't all of the tangling. I use them with my mp3 player, much better than the phones that came with it.(Sony earbuds) trying to sleep with them on will be quite a challenge but the sound they put out will make you want to find a way to get comfortable.
