Review 3 of 4

Price Paid:  $31.00 from Ebay

Summary:
For the price I paid, I think I got a good deal. I normally tend to stay away from Sony because the price is higher than the quality. I use these on a Rio 500 MP3 player, they sound very clear, I can hear things that I couldn''t hear before. That can be understood since I used to have earbud headphones. The only problem is they are a little big and they also have a closed design, which is good and bad. The headphones fold up so that I can put them in my jacket pocket. Overall, I like them, but they are a little big.

Strengths:
Folding feature Good sound Closed design

Weaknesses:
Too big Closed design

Review 4 of 4

Price Paid:  $30.00 from --

Summary:
for a casual listener like me I think this headphone pretty great because it control the high frequency level pretty well so it doesn't become really harsh when you turning it loud, about the bass,... remember this as a casual headphone ok maybe it can't make you chest hurt but it surely can make you hard beat pretty well. well that's all i feel about this headphone

Strengths:
enough bass for an ordinary audio listener
good enough at high frequeny sound

Weaknesses:
you can't use it while your sleeping

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
