Summary:
I feel that I must replace these now after 4 years of unhappy usage. Sound always been good but product design and quality are scandalously inadequate for this prestigious brand ... I still have faith in Sennheiser, though... all good brands seem to produce expensive goods of poor durability ... what is going on? - I now opted for Senn HD-280 .. let's see how whether they can handle normal use !

Strengths:
Very good, true, balanced sound.

Weaknesses:
Contacts bad. Got new cords but problems remain. Earpieces fall off during normal handling. Low sound volume using PC or portable CD player.

Similar Products Used:
Koss (some expensive model). Pioneer (some expensive model). These were no better with regard to user friendliness!
