Review 3 of 8

Price Paid:  $75.00 from A&B Sound

Summary:
You can always tell goo - sorry, great headphones by how they sound - off your head. I often find using them on my desk, almost as speakers and the quality is still top notch.

Strengths:
Great base, solid sound, soundproofs outside noises

Weaknesses:
Ya...bad for the hair

Review 4 of 8

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
I had a good reveiw until I hit the reset button. but to make a long story short, they sound a helluva lot better than my teeny sounding wraparounds, and after searching for pro-luxe pro-40s for a long time, I ha ve found that they have been resurrected as jwin's JH-V800 headphones. And did I mention that they are cheaper that my radio shack supposed high quality wraparounds?

Strengths:
cheap, better that wraparounds and the box is not a blisterpack; it was made for giftwraping.

Weaknesses:
messes up your hair

Review 5 of 8

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
These headphones are excellent. When I bought mine they were middle of the road price wise and they were just as good as the high end models. I listen to just about every kind of music on them inc. rap/hip-hop and the bass comes through clear and heavy.

Strengths:
Excellent base, and acoustic capabilities. extra long cord

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
