Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $89.00 from Sam Ash NY

Summary:
Great for radio and quality listening!

Strengths:
Great bass on this. I work in radio and the digital sound is quality. I have to also say that these are the best sheilded headphones ever. No feedback which is a plus in radio.

Weaknesses:
Long cord...which for me isnt very good. A coil cord would be nicer.

Similar Products Used:
AKG...not sheilded...had to return them.

Review 2 of 2

Summary:
I tried the HD-D727, which is the HD-D810 with a different headband. They're smooth and neutral, but are not very dynamic or detailed. Also, the upper treble is rolled way off and their unique driver housing design is uncomfortable.

Magnepan Magneplanar MG 1.6 User Review

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
