Review 1 of 6

Price Paid:  $50.00 from Future Shop

Summary:
Just bought them...great improvement over the $79 sony headphones I bought. Great bass response and my discman can acutally power it enough so that it isnt choppy (like the sony ones were). Weakness: plastic construction seems shoddy...we'll see how it holds up to my day-to-day usage. Size is perfect for my needs...not bulky/overweight...perfect for walking or just casual listening on the go

Strengths:
great bass response; great frequency response; volume control good idea for on the go listeners; long cord; stereo phone plug adapter; size/weight great...not bulky

Weaknesses:
seems cheap/shoddy in design/plastic

Similar Products Used:
Sony MDR CD280 headphones

Review 3 of 6

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
Don't let your mother buy you headphones! I got these as a gift, to replace a pair of very cheap Optimus Nova 403's (Radio Shack's house brand) headphones that I'd purchased out of necessity. I was hoping for something better, but I got something about the same.

Strengths:
volume control in wire.

Weaknesses:
all plastic construction feels cheap, like it will break easily. paper-thin vinyl covering on earpads (same as Optimus) will wear through quickly (1 year). "y" construction of wire's connection to speakers (rather than single feed over the head) can be hooked easily by hand motion, potentially pulling out wire from speakers. sound quality seems only slightly better than Optimus. 3

Review 5 of 6

Summary:
The sound is nothing special coming from these headphones. The swivel mounting of the speakers is fragile and unreplaceable. The wire-in is not securely fastened and can be torn out by accident easily. Every component is plastic, and the styling has many nonsense features, such as plastic bumps, or holes in simple patterns. A cheap aesthetic improvement would be a red led indicator, with any function. All this for more than $50?

Strengths:
Good loudness and good Hz range for sound

Weaknesses:
Plastic swivel-speaker grips will break easily, are unreplaceable, and should be made of metal
