Review 2 of 4

Summary:
These are great headphones as long as you do not get them wet. If I run for more than 5 miles, sweat seriously impacts their sound quality. When they are dry, sound quality is decent. To me, cheaper Sony products have better sound quality. On form/functionality nothing beats them. Would score them higher if they were actually waterproof.

Strengths:
Good sound for the price.

Weaknesses:
Not so much waterproof. When the earphones get wet (sweat), bass response is nonexistant.

Similar Products Used:
Sony in ear headphones that actually stay waterproof.

Review 3 of 4

Summary:
Make them waterproof and more resistant to popping due to bass!

Strengths:
Excellent sound... increadible bass! Very comfortable to wear; great behind-the-neck design - stay on better than individual ear buds.

Weaknesses:
I blew the speaker the in the right ear too easily. During a hard workout, sweat will enter the speakers and cause them to produce only treble.

Similar Products Used:
Any vertical in-ear design

Review 4 of 4

Summary:
I would definitely recommend these headphones. They're waterproof and stay on.

Strengths:
Sounds great, excellent frequency response

Weaknesses:
Only one size, and it's not adjustable. Because I have a rather small build, it tends to stick out too far behind my neck.

Similar Products Used:
Sony vertical in-ear headphones

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
