Bought them because I was looking for a cheap pair of headphones for gaming on my computer and some music listening, and had a friend with them who loved them, suggested them to me. I couldn't find them at any store as I was looking for these in 2000, and if the guy who put the post above is right, they were 2 years old by then. So I found them online for about $8, with about $7 shipping and handling. They are great headphones, but I don't keep the cord wound up when I use them, so I keep stretching the cord when I'm on my computer and I shift positons in my chair, so I'm currently looking for online place to buy another pair. I'm not even going to bother with looking for a different pair, I love these too much. I would suggest them pretty much to anybody looking for open-air headphones, but then again people who need perfect sound will probably want some studio-class ones, cause I doubt they are that good (but good enough for Quake 3 and Offspring :) ) Strengths:
Strong sound, surprisingly good for blocking out minor sounds despite open air design, long cord. Weaknesses:
