Strength:

For under $600 dollars, I have a good high-def compatible portable television that can throw an image as big as I want it to be! Excellent picture quality for an entry level DLP projector. Easy to set up and use. Attractive styling. Good customer support.

Weakness:

No horizontal keystone correction. Noisy fan.

Purchased this projector for $549 dollars factory refurbished. After running through several DVD movies at 480p, XBOX games through the S-Video at 480i, and a Chicago Cubs baseball game through the standard-definition video input, I can say that the video quality of this projector is pretty good out of the box! The picture is bright enough to be seen clearly, even when my living-room's lamps were on! Blacks are more dark grey than black, and rainbows are present. Rainbows don't bother me much though. The projector is easy to use and quite intuitive and I found myself making adjustments, switching aspect ratios, and swapping signal sources in no time at all. Fan noise is quite audible, but did not detract from movies or games.
