Bottom Line:
As good as the hype if not better. I haven't heard a better sub $1000 bookshelf monitor. Great in an office or a living room. Add a good sub woofer and you have anything as good as you'll find for less than $2000 period.

Bottom Line:
These are terrific bookshelf speakers. Besides all the positive comments in previous reviews I would add that these speakers are great when it comes to reproducing realistic acoustic piano sounds. I'm a jazz nut and keyboard player myself, so realistic piano sound is a must. Also, the clarity and presence in the mid and high range is excellent. This is a big help to those of us baby-boomers who are losing a little of our high-end hearing. And if that isn't enough, you can play the Titus with very low power tube amps. I have driven them with my AES Super Amp (20 watts) with no problems whatsoever.
These speakers are a bargain at list price. If you can find them used on eBay like I did they are the steal of the century.

Bottom Line:
Purchased the Triangle Titus 202 for my office system from Sterophile review and Class B rating.
This is the best $500 speaker available. Great highs and mid-range. Very Musical compare with other
speakers in this price range.
Equipment used:
NAD 541i CD
NAD C320BEE
Kimber PBJ (WBT RCA's)
Kimber 4VS Bi-wired
Partington Super Dreadnough Speaker Stands

Forget the Absolute Sound Budget system. This is the one to own. The Titus /Partington Combo makes the difference.

One word on the stands, absolutely the best for the money in the world.
Not available in USA, but Partington sold them to me directly.

Bottom Line:
A finer speaker you will not find, under $1500..or more.
Goes lower, and more accurately, than any other speaker of it's size, and I do mean any.Detailed clean highs, not bright at all(previous reviewer needs to blame his sorce for his complaint of these being too bright).Grain-free mids.
Best of all, imaging is nothing short of tremendous..ditto soundstage.I have the bottom filled out with a fine sub(Athena AS P400),but only for the lowest(under 35) of frequency needs would anyone need one.
Truely an astounding value...made for tubes,IMHO,as sensitivity is quite high.
Slap on some Norah,Tracy,a little Leo Kotke, and you will be thrilled.Spend some cash on good wires..c'mon...U know U need them.
And all U (overpriced)B+W owners..shed the mundane,and try these.
