Ik bezit de 'Tannoy P30 luidspeaker, deze mooie Floor staander is schitterend van geluid. Heb deze gespeeld met AMC buizen voor en eindversterker. Echt heel mooi. Aangesloten bi wired met van den Hull en Siltech kabel. De van den Hull en Siltech kabels bezit ik nog steeds. Speel daar nu niet meer mee sinds ik verhuisd ben. Mijn vorige woning had ik een houten vloer, nu een betonnen vloer. Wel een heel verschil. Nu speel ik met Quad 66 scepter 66 en 99 power eind versterker met Cambridge Azur 651C en Cambridge Dac DacMagic. Alles aangesloten met van den Hull bekabeling en originele vergulde pluggen. Prachtig mooi en warm geluid. Mooi middengebied en transparant hoog. Of ik nu klassiek, opera, of populaire muziek speel, het is en blijft echt heel mooi. Met The Katie Melua Collection komt Katie echt helemaal los van de speakers zelf alsof zij in mijn huiskamer aan het spelen is. Zelfs met Leo Delibes Silvia Coppelia Ballet muziek op Reference Recordings 24 bit HDCD opname met de Francisco Ballet Orchestra o.l.v. Martin West echt schitterende opname, dan pas hoor je wat 'Tannoy echt is. De tranen lopen over mijn wangen van dit schitterende mooie geluid. Nu heb ik de 'Tannoy Revolution R3' gekocht voor maar € 200,- Euro p.p. ik ga deze vergelijken met de 'Tannoy P30' uitslag volgt.

Ik kan geen slechte punten vinden bij de 'Tannoy P30' ik denk met de juiste bekabeling, aansluit kabels, installatie de opstelling van de speakers best wel het e.e.a. uitmaakt. Maar de 100.000 Euro vraag is, heeft een ieder dat budget over omdat te bereiken.

I recently bought these spkrs to replace my Tannoy P10s - I upgraded two models to the P30 as they are currently being sold very cheap in the uk (rrp 630 ukp, bought for 299 ukp). I was very happy with the P10s but wanted more bass, hence my decision to get the P30s.

Performance is top-drawer, with the P30s producing a crisp clear top-end and a well controlled low-end. The placing of these spkrs is essential as they have a rearwards-firing port - near to the wall reduces the bass well for small rooms, whilst allowing the spkrs to breathe by placing them about 45cm from the wall fills the room with deep, gut wrenching bass. Warning though, this can be a bit too much if your room suffers acoustically.

I listening to the Linn Kan IIIs, B&W 602 Mk2s and the AE109s. Whilst the Linns had a better top end, the P30s have the best compromise with a good well-balanced sound throughout the range (40hz to 38khz / 10-150W). I am sure that there are better spkrs around, but for the price and general performance they are worthy of a highly recommended verdict.
