I came across the Tangent HTD-50 speakers in their original box with everything as new. I'd not heard of them but since they are Danish, that doesn't surprise me.
I have a VERY good system and use large DCM floor standing speakers. Nonetheless, I've wanted to try a pair of nice small bookshelf speakers.
I don't consider myself to have "golden ears" but I know what I like, and I LIKE these Tangents!
Right now I'm listening to a Focal Labs Deom CD through them and they are blowing me away!
I will try a test CD to see if they really reach down to 55Hz, but that is what they are advertised to reach......
The amount of Bass they do put our especially for such small "woofers" is surprising.
They seem to be well made with nice binding posts, but not set at 3/4" spacing which would have been nicer.
I'm happy with them.
